Creating your own art at home has never been more meaningful than when you are creating it for someone you love. You could create this for your partner for Valentines Day or an Anniversary or for your children.
What you will need
- An art canvas (your choice of size, even from a cheap shop
- Hairdryer or Heat Gun (I like this one, it is affordable and really good)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Crayons (here is a bulk pack of 152, because you might need a lot)
What to do
Find a large space with plenty of room, lay down some newspaper to protect your work space, and get your canvas.
Lightly sketch the shape you would like your crayons in and lay them down in the order you would like.
If you are doing a curved shape like the heart above, you will need to glue them down in sections to get the direction of the run you would like.
Use your hot glue gun to glue your crayons in place.
Stand your canvas up so that the direction you want to crayon to run in is at the bottom.
Lightly hit the crayons with the heat gun until they start to melt, blow the crayon in the direction you want.
