Traffic cameras are usually a pretty boring event, monitoring traffic, checking for accidents and hazards, sometimes used for issues fines to people breaking the law.
It is pretty unlikely for them to capture anything quite like this.

Soaring Snowy owl, captured by traffic Cam
These images were captured by Highway 40, Montreal, and tweeted by the Quebec transport minister Robert Poeti.

His tweet roughly translates to “Beautiful snowy owl taken up by the road network surveillance cameras on the A-40 in western MTL.”
It is suspected that it is a female snowy owl, attracted to the area by the gorgeous meadows just next to the highway.

It is suspected she was attracted to the area for the lush meadows
What a shot, traffic camera used for good!
